This couple was ready for a serious update of their two story living room. The fireplace style was outdated, and the existing furniture was too small, or underscaled, for the room. Our design completely remodeled the fireplace and niche, creating a floating hearth and linear fireplace clad in limestone slabs and limestone stacked stone. We also designed an upholstered window seat area along the windows. It is sleek and minimal looking, and deceptively comfortable, with cushions recessed into the framing and webbing support below. The furniture and area rug are all custom and made-to-order pieces that pull in the colors of their extensive art collection, while providing ample comfortable seating for entertaining guests.
