I've also seen cabinets painted an espresso color which looked fabulous as well. I think many people hesitate to paint their cabinets because of the prep and worry about the possible chipping/wearability. Paint products have changed so much over the last few years and painting cabinets really can be a successful project whose beauty lasts for years!
