When asked what she wanted to pursue as a career, Trena recalled designing, and re-designing her shared bedroom with pencil and graph paper as a child. Yes, the drawings were to scale. Already having a passion and knack for art (and interestingly, math,) it was an easy transition to study interior design at Oregon State University. Trena graduated in 2011, with honors, where she built on her knowledge as an architectural technician at the university. She moved up to the beautiful Portland area where she worked at a retail design store, gaining product knowledge, before joining Pangaea in 2013. She is most passionate about creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but functional. She understands that the human element should always be the most important factor of every design.
