Having your own vacation home is a great way to enjoy your favorite destination while still having all the comforts of home. But decorating from a distance can be a real challenge. This client turned to Pangaea Interior Design to fully furnish and accessorize this empty condo with comfortable and practical furniture and art from local artists. No dining table for this client! She enjoys dining out with friends at the fabulous restaurants available in Portland’s Pearl District. That left space for more seating, so a comfy sectional with matching ottoman and large armchair provide plenty of room for friends and family to hang out and enjoy a drink before hitting the town. Monorail lighting provides plenty of overhead lighting and spotlights the art, while pendants and a unique floor lamp provide additional layers of lighting. A deep and soft felted wool rug is heaven under bare feet after a day of strolling through the local art galleries.
