Comfort was key for this retired couple in their new home. We furnished the living room and dining room with an eye toward elegant and supremely comfortable seating in soothing colors of soft yellow and robin’s egg blue.Vibrant colors enliven the family room through drapery, and a custom rug. The generously proportioned sectional features motorized recliners for relaxing TV watching. We remodeled the fireplace to create a warm and inviting focal point. The kitchen dining area was fitted out with a low-maintenance, reclaimed wood dining table and slip-covered chairs to withstand visits from grandchildren. In the master bedroom, custom silk drapery in a rich, gray-violet color and matching wall color surrounds an upholstered bed with sumptuous custom bedding. The guest bedroom contains a gift-wrapping station behind drapery in the closet. And the office is appointed with live-edge desks,leather-look wall coverings, and custom steel shelving to hold a lifetime of precious memorabilia.
